In this study, the use of biochar and clinoptilolite columns in removing ammonium, potassium, orthophosphate and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) from the liquid fraction of digestate is investigated.
Zeolite as a catalyst greatly reduced the oxygen content of the bio-oil, such that the 30 wt % of oxygen content for noncatalytic oil decreased to 16.34 wt %.
This work aimed the influence of zeolites addition on a sludge-straw composting process using a pilotscale rotary drum reactor. The addition of 10% Zeocat produced compost compliant with Spanish regulations.
Zeolite (Clinoptilolites) was added to Laying Hens feed at concentrations 1% or 2% and was evaluated for its effects on performance of the production and on egg quality.
The ability of natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) to take up zinc (Zn) ions from industrial wastewater was studied in batch reactors and fixed bed columns.
The pozzolanic action played by five natural zeolite-rich materials (three clinoptilolite- and one each mordenite- and analcime-bearing rocks) coming from Turkey, has been examined.
In this study, the use of ion exchange theory utilizing natural Turkish clinoptilolite zeolite from Gördes-Manisa as ion exchange resins in down-flow column mode is investigated.
